Chevron CANDI's...

Holly here, from Ribbons & Glue sharing with you a {cute} baby gift I made for my sister using Rainforest CANDi's.   In case you're wondering, we're all waiting for her to POP out the lil' guy any day now.

Chevron Fabric Photo Frame

I made a photo frame that matches this awesome grey Chevron rug in the baby's nursery.

To make the frame, I painted and distressed it, used Mod Podge to adhere the fabric on the front,  then wrapped a big fat green grosgrain ribbon around it securing it in place using Ultra Thin Glue Dots®.   Of course, the bow still needed a little somethin', somethin' so I added a Citrus Blend button from Button Galore & More

 Stamped Baby Subway Art

Now, I couldn't send off the frame displaying a generic Hobby Lobby insert and we're still waiting on photos of the little tike so, I made Baby Subway Art by stamping Tanner Bell Designs  stamps on to a piece of card stock and adhered Rainforest CANDi's randomly using Ultra Thin Glue Dots®.

Now, go get some of your own CANDi's to play with and see what else I made for my sister's Nursery HERE.

A Job Well Done!

Hey Hey and Hello!  Midge here and I am super thrilled to be able to share a fun card with you today! I looked at my calendar and noticed it is Administrative Professionals day next week.  As coincidence would have it, as I was wandering around the scrapbook supply store, I ran into this fun paper.  I knew mixed with a little CRAFTWORKCards CANDi it would create the perfect card to celebrate the occasion.  (It's a strange holiday, but they celebrate it at my Mom's office.)  I used the Damask- Afternoon Tea CANDi
Seen Here:
Oh, I just love Damask!  And now the card:
I just love the "Old Fashioned" typewriter images.  Here is a close up of the embellishments:

"A job well done" indeed!  I hope all of the people in the office as well as yourself enjoyed this card today.

I'd love for you to visit me at my blog "Scrappin Toxic Midge" here

Thanks So Much!

Hi Everyone!
Happy Thursday!

here to share with you another project using that awesome

I decided to make a Thank You card to have on hand.
I kept it pretty simple yet elegant.
I made those awesome flowers by simply turning the CANDi over and adhering in a circular pattern until it was the size that I wanted. After I had the size that I wanted, I simply placed a CANDi in the center right side up. I attached some leaves to the back using a Martha Stewart punch and Voila! Beautiful flowers that I think make quite an impact. I finished off my card with a little bow in the upper right hand corner.

Here is a close up of the flowers:

For my project I used the Patchwork CANDi:
There are so many great colors and patterns in the CANDi line!

Hi everyone, it's Sherri from The Squeaky Scrapper.

Thanks for joining me today for some Craftwork Cards CANDi fun!!

Today I'm using one of my favorite colors which is the "Icing Sugar".  I tend to use this one a lot because you can use glimmer mist on it, or even stamp on it if you wanted too ~ it's very versatile.

I tried to blow them up for you to see, it actually has a little sparkle to it.

Here's a package of the CANDI, and you get TONS of them in one pouch!

Chocolate Chip CANDi...

Who likes chocolate chip muffins?  Me!  How about non-caloric, chocolate chip muffins full of yummy CANDi goodness?  My hips like this one!

Holly here from Ribbons & Glue  sharing the perfect Chocolate Chip Muffin recipe with you today using Coffee Bean CANDi's.

I found this Chocolate Chip Muffin  cut file from PPbN Designs and turned it into a card by cutting the base of the card twice and attaching one edge of the base together.

** This little helpful trick is an easy way to make shaped cards without having to get all "weldy" with awkward shapes**

To make my muffin look yummy, I added a swirl texture and Coffee Bean CANDi's adhered with Ultra Thin Glue Dots®.

To complete my muffin card, I added a little pennant tag using American Crafts paper along with a stamped sentiment from K. Andrew Designs then wrapped my muffinup with twine and added a Heirloom Keepsake Button from Buttons Galore and More.

Oooh....yummy chocolate goodness without all the calories!

Supplies Used:
Coffee Bean CANDi
American Crafts Paper
Buttons Galore & More-Heirloom Keepsakes
Colorbox Ink
K. Andrew Stamps
Ultra Thin Glue Dots®
Twine
