Lots of Dots
Good morning CANDi people! It’s Britt from Pink Paper Crowns here to share a card with you today!
When I start making a card or craft project I try to pick a uniting factor, for example, a paper line, a color scheme, a theme, or even a shape. Giving myself parameters before I even begin my project helps me to decide what products to use and makes the whole experience more enjoyable. I can focus on good design and the feeling I want for the project if I’m not bogged down with so many possibilities.
Today’s project theme: Dots ( I know, it’s a little obvious considering CANDi are dots. But, no one said I had to be original. : )
A theme or shape can be interpreted several different ways on one project and just by virtue of repetition (a good design word to remember) it will help bring everything together.
Cardstock: (tan) Creamy Cardstock by DCWV; (red) American Crafts | Patterned Paper (Nordic Holiday Collection 6x6) Basic Grey | Die: (‘Tis The Season) Sizzix for Basic Grey | Embossing Folder: (Bubbles) Sizzix | CANDi (Coffee Bean, Very Merry Silver) Craftwork Cards
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Make card from cardstock. Emboss tan cardstock with embossing folder, adhere to card.
2) Die cut sentiment from patterned paper.
3) Trim strips from patterned paper, notch ends. Adhere to card with foam adhesive.
4) Adhere sentiment over notch-end strips. Punch scalloped sections of patterned paper, adhere.
5) Use CANDi Fix to adhere coordinating Card CANDi to finish.

Candi Clear Ornament
Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, and I'm so super excited to share my first post as a Craftwork Cards Design Team member! These little Candi's are such a fantastic addition to anybody's embellishment stash. They give so much sparkle, and dimension to projects. They look just like brads, but without the pain of having to split the prongs apart! They can be used in so many places, so I decided to create an ornament. Here's how it turned out:

You have all been really busy over here on the blog and I am loving how creative you have been with our gorgeous CANDi! Gorgeous ideas for cards, scrapbook pages, gifts, flowers!
I wanted to share a project with you all that one of our super talented designers, Emma Smith made using Candi.
Up close to see the finer details ....
Yes there are hundreds of CANDi that have been 'scrunched' and adhered to the birdhouse and then glitter glue has been added to the centre of each piece!!!
A close up of the flowers Emma made using a selection of punches and die cut flowers.
I'm sure you will agree that this project shows just how versatile CANDi is!
From all the UK Design Team, your friends from across the pond, We want to wish you all a Happy Thanks Giving for Thursday 22nd November, have a fabulous time with your families and friends and enjoy your celebrations.
Look forward to seeing more of your creations with CANDi and sharing the UK Design Team ideas too.

You can buy Craftwork Cards candi at Scrapbook.Com, CropStop and Hallmark Scrapbook in the USA (ask them about the sentiments, they are available in the US as well)
