Froggy Kiss

Hi everyone!
Happy Thursday!

Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner here and
today I get to share another project with you using that awesome

In honor of Valentine's Day approaching,
I decided to make a cute and simple card.

I used Create A Critter 2 and cut out that cute little frog at 3".
I added some yellow stickles to his crown to make it sparkle and shine.
For his little cheeks, I used the Icing Sugar CANDi and simply colored it with a Melon Mambo marker so that it matched my card stock perfectly.
I also added some Rainforest CANDi to the incorporate more of the green.

Here is a close up of the parts with the CANDi:

There are so many great patterns and colors in the CANDi line.

I Heart You

Hi everyone, it's Sherri from the Squeaky Scrapper.

Thanks for joining me today for a little valentine card using some Craftwork Cards CANDi.

I used the "Icing Sugar" CANDi for this card which is white. I sprayed them with Tutti Fruiti Glimmer Mist to turn them the exact color pink I wanted to match my card. Yes, glimmer mist works great on them :)

CANDi TP Roll Album!

Hello sweet readers! It’s Britt Bass here from Pink Paper Crowns, bringing you a SUPER cute project that looks so cool but is actually so easy to make!

The cute little albums made from TP rolls are found widely around the internet; the project in an oldie but a ‘goodie’.  Put a twist on this kind of album by adding a chipboard cover and some coordinating CANDi, and you’ve made an old concept new again!

MME1

I used the My Mind’s Eye “Miss Caroline” collection for this album and the the “Patchwork” CANDi was so PERFECT with it!  It was almost like they were MADE to go together.  I was overjoyed that they matched so well!

MMEbook2

I used the CANDi on the spine, to accent my butterfly punches and (my favorite feature) at the ends of all my tags!  Here’s a close up:

MMEbook3

This book came together so quickly, but looks very complicated due to the fact that I used some of almost all the patterned paper (6x6 pad) and then the CANDi had a little pattern printed on it.

MMEbook4

I loved how the pink CANDi looks here.  I used a hidden hinge binding technique but with the CANDi there it looks like I used a more sophisticated binding technique!

MMEbook

Same goes here on the outside of the book! It looks post-bound, but that is just the MAGIC of CANDi!
Thanks for stopping by!  Leave me comment if you liked it and Pin it if you LOVED it!!

Valentine CANDi...

Holly here from Ribbons & Glue. When I was at CHA last weekend,  I got to meet up with  Craftwork Cards (who came all the way from the UK too) and they gave me some more of there CANDi goodies to play with for my design team posts.  I love all there CANDi's but there Sweethearts CANDi's are just a perfect addition to any Valentines Day project.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the hearts from a Hero Arts file and found these CANDi Sweethearts to be the perfect size to embellish them with.

I then added faux stitching, white crinkle ribbon and a stamped sentiment from K. Andrew Designs to complete my Valentine CANDi card.

Snow Play

Happy Monday everyone! I am sure many of you start your day watching the news like I do. And I have to admit, it is really strange to see all the snow that is falling all over the country when it is 70+ degrees here in Arizona! Since I can't go outside to enjoy the snow, I decided to pull out some photos from years ago! Here is a layout I made using pictures from 2004....

Lauren and Matt had so much fun playing and sledding in the snow! I loved the bright pink snowsuit Lauren was wearing and wanted to pull pink into my layout.

I scattered snowflakes all around the page and Icing Sugar CANDi was the perfect extra touch. I used some in the center of my snowflakes and I used Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalking Ink (Blue Hawaiian) to stamp snowflakes right on to the CANDi!! I LOVE the way it turned out!

I had a lot of fun creating this layout and I hope I inspired you to try something new!

Coffee, Tea Anyone....

Coffee, Tea CANDI Anyone...

Hey all, it's Kim from Justwordz sharing with you today a little more Craftwork Cards CANDI..i have such fun with these little embellishments.

Oh, once i saw this image i totally had to size it right for my little coffee beans to fit. I love how there are three shades in this package. Makes for some great variety on my image. I coloured the cups with promarkers and just glued my CANDI on all the dots. Added a little embellishment and there it is..super fun and perfect to add a gift card inside to their favourite coffee shop.
Coffee Bean CANDI can be found HERE. Thanks for dropping by..

Turning one!

Hi everyone!
Happy Thursday!
here to show you a simple and quick layout that uses that awesome

I based my layout off of a sketch from Basic Grey: Basic Scrapbook Sketch 9.24.12
As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew right away what pictures I wanted to use.
Not to mention, all those circles in the sketch are perfect for CANDi.

My layout now has a lot of dimension, without it being too bulky to fit into the
page protectors in my album.

Here is a close up of some of my CANDi:

I used Icing Sugar and School Days on my project:

There are so many great patterns and colors in the CANDi line,
you should definitely check them out.
