I love the way that this card turned out, using craft cardstock, Brilliant blue cardstock, some brown distress ink, vintage graphic 45 paper, some cream flowers (that were cut apart from a piece of ribbon), a small doily, strip of white lace, decorative border piece, two white straight pins and to top it off with the super cute CANDi! Yup super easy and fun!!!!!!

The CANDi that I used today was the Polka Dots Berry Bliss.  Red and Blue with with polka dots on them. Aren't they so cute?? Love the colors!

Birthday Celebration!

Good Monday morning to you! I have a fun layout celebrating my daughter's 11th birthday to share with you!

These fun Echo Park papers were perfect for my daughter's party photos! The theme was candy! Yum!!

I love that CANDi adds a fun splash of color with dimension to my layouts! Here I used one up in the corner.

I lined some CANDi up to help create a border and even used one for the center of my flower!

Here is the CANDi used on this layout...
Gingham Strata

Polka Dots Citrus Burst

Polka Dots Raspberry Truffle

I hope you have a wonderful week and find some time to create something crafty!

Happy Day!

Photobucket
here today to show you a CraftWork Cards CANDi project.

This card was so fun and easy! I used the PRINT AND CUT feature on my Cameo for both the image and the sentiment from Lettering Delights "Peacocks and Pinwheels."

I pulled out several ribbon choices I thought may work well with the colors on this card, and decided on the stitched lime green ribbon. Background was embossed with my Cuttlebug and "Juli's Garden" folder. The butterfly is from a Stampin' Up Butterfly punch.

Candi was added to random flower centers on the tree. "Ritz" pack

Thanks for stopping by today!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :) Janis

"Drinks" by the Pool

Scrappin Toxic Midge

Well hey howdy ho there!  The weather is finally warming up and I, for one, couldn't be more thrilled.  My kids have decided they want to have an end of school "Pool Party".  This means I have (more) projects to do! LOL. I have started the invites believe it or not.  I want to do "Nameplates" for the items I put out on the tables.  What better to use as embellishments than CANDi!?!  I chose to work with the Polka Dots--"Berry Bliss" CANDi, seen here:
And here is the nameplate for the "Drinks":

I'm going to make nameplates for the pizza, dessert, towels, water balloons etc;  I don't know why I always go overboard for parties.  My friends all tease me and I know the kids could care less.  I just have to do it!
I hope you all enjoyed my project today.  I would love for you to visit me at my blog here.

Love Always

Hi everyone!
Happy Thursday!

here to show you another fun card using that awesome

I decided to make a fun little clean and simple card using some washi tape.
For my card, I simply cut out a piece of cardstock measuring 4x5.25". Then I went about laying down the washi tape is diagonal lines from top to bottom. After it was complete, I trimmed off the excess and placed it onto my card base. I then cut out another piece of white cardstock measuring 3.75x5" and used a heart punch to punch out my heart. I added my sentiment and then ran it through my cuttlebug and just embossed the left side of my card with my swiss dots embossing folder.  I then added my ribbon. After that was done, I added some foam adhesive on all around the edges on the back and adhered on top of my washi layer. I love how the washi ended up looking like patterned paper! Of course I added some Rainforest CANDi to the right hand corner of my card to finish it off. I love how CANDi finishes off every project beautifully!

Here is a close up of my CANDi:

I used Rainforest CANDi on my project:

Mother's Day Candi!

Hello my fellow Candi lovers! This is Jillian from Paper à la Mode!! I've been on a bit of a candy hiatus but my sweet tooth is back and stronger than ever!!

Craftwork Cards is a UK based company who are looking to expand into the US. And I was lucky enough to be chosen to help make that happen! Click HERE to visit the UK blog and click HERE to visit the US blog!

Ok so we all know that Mother's Day is right around the corner. I'm blessed to have four moms in my life. My mother and stepmother and my husbands mother and stepmother. All of which are fantastic women that I really love! So I made them their cards this year. And I really wanted to incorporate Candi into it!!

I really had a great time making them!!

For this project I used "Rose Bouquet" Candi and "Coffee Bean" Candi.

Get Whale CANDi's...

Holly here from Ribbons & Glue sharing a Get Well card using School Days and Icing Sugar CANDi's.

The free cut file this week over in Silhouette Store is a whale and waves.  I love those free files, look forward to them every week.  Have you noticed the nautical theme is starting to trend again or maybe it's just  just the excitement of Summer?  Probably a lil' of both.

Get Whale Soon Card

I chose to only use the whale from the cut file even though the waves did get my creative juices a rockin'.  I get terribly sea sick so I don't actually encourage the rocking of anything.

I used Echo Park Dots & Stripes paper as the card mat and adhered it on to the card base by sewing a zig zag stitch.  Love red stitching on Kraft paper {love}!  I then incorporated School Days and Icing Sugar CANDi's to tie all my nautical themed colors together.

To complete the Get Well card, I stamped a punny sentiment from K. Andrew Designs 'cause Get Well cards are suppose to provide some cheer, wrapped Hemptique twine around the tail and added a Gold stick pin for some shine.

I originally had the stick pin stuck behind the whale.  Looked like the poor thing was harpooned.  Axed that idea....don't need them Whale Wars crazies after me!

If you wanna add some CANDi goodness to your projects you can find them...HERE!
